How do you deal with writer’s block?

So I had the first half of the story …moreI experienced that with one chapter in Midnight on Mars. I wrote the story in chapters, but not always in order. So I had the first half of the story completed, and a couple chapters near the end, but I just couldn't seem to bridge them together. So I left that one chapter alone, wrote the rest, and by the time I was done, I was able to go back and do that one. (It'll eventually come to you, just give it time and move onto something else - another writing project or chore - until it does. You might even be doing something like the dishes and suddenly you've figured it out).(less)
