Jane was born in in England, and grew up exploring the history and culture of London and surrounding counties. After some time spent in Germany in the 1990’s she immigrated to Detroit, USA, eventually settling in South West Florida.

Every book I write is unique, as I write the story takes on a life of its own and I rarely end up where I thought I would. I like to push the limits combining things that should not work into making them work. I love that I have a publishing contract.  It was one of the best moments of my life. It made all the anguish, hard work and dealing with people that ultimately let me down, recede into the past. Ultimately, these experiences made me stronger, and more determined to become a published author in the end.

Proofread everything, at least three times, before submitting your work to a publisher.  Better still get someone else to proof read your work for you, they will pick up on things far better than you, as once you know a story well, your brain will automatically fill in missing words that are not actually there.(less)

“Why do you continue to defy me, Madeline?” His voice was cold and the way he looked at me with his intense, darkly disturbing gaze chilled me completely. The paralysis left me and I stood up with my eyes firmly fixed on him. Somehow I found my voice.”
Jane Jordan, Ravens Deep

“I reveal to you now in trusted safe-keeping that I am immortal, an eternal creature of the night, one who walks the earth only in the shadows. My lust for blood is my torture and my nightmare, but it allows my existence. You know I have learnt restraint and far from me you are forever safe. My life is darkness and infinite misery, but my happiness will be the knowledge that you have light in your life and can find peace, whereas I can never.”
Jane Jordan, Ravens Deep

“I would like to do that,” he remarked smiling. I thought then that he had a beautiful smile, his whole face seemed to radiate attractiveness, it wasn’t a full smile for just a hint of what could only be perfect white teeth were visible. But when I looked at Darius I could often see nothing other than his alluring eyes enticing me further and I could lose myself in those eyes and virtually forget how sensual his lips were.”
Jane Jordan, Ravens Deep
