Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Hadrian Temple Superheroes and bdsm are an absolutely natural combination. So when the thought occurred to me, it was just a question of figuring out the characters.…moreSuperheroes and bdsm are an absolutely natural combination. So when the thought occurred to me, it was just a question of figuring out the characters. Silhouette was a character who had been floating around in my head for a long time, so he became the superhero, but he wasn't self-aware enough about his needs to be the main character. So I wound up writing his story from the villain's PoV. Dr Inevitable just sprang into life in my mind--his attitude, his voice, his desires--they were all just there. So I guess in some way, Dr. Inevitable is an alter ego of mine.(less)
