M Dressler's work has been praised by the New York Times as "splendid" and by Library Journal as the writing of a "natural-born storyteller." The director, Livia De Paolis, is writing the treatment as we speak, and will write the screenplay (I have no experience writing for film, so will concentrate on the next book), with most of this work coming after she completes everything related to her current project/film, THE LOST GIRLS (which will be released this summer). So we will all have to be patient; many moving parts, as I am sure you know, when it comes to bringing novels to the screen. I'll be sure to post updates here. Go, Emma Rose!
