I am a book blogger and indie author. I enjoy reading other indie authors’ work and have learned a lot from this community.

I live in Kent with my long suffering husband.

My debut novel, Orchard View, is about a house where a murder took place some thirty years earlier, and I am currently working on two more stories, a Christmas romance and another dark tale of avarice with murder.

20 books of summer 2026 challenge logo aiming to achieve 20 books between 1st June and 31st August

The 20 Book of Summer 2026 Reading Challenge drew to a close on 31st August and despite all the challenges that life inevitably throws at me when I set myself a time-sensitive task to complete, I can report that I have successfully completed the challenge by reading 20 books. Although not necessarily the 20 I originally planned to read!

I love this challenge because it's almost impossible not t

A Christmas Gift is a clean, happy-ending, short story suitable for the older end of the intended age range. I say this as there's a bit of pushing and shoving and a full on fight which I don't think is appropriate for a 10 year old.

Personally, I enj
