After writing the book about frogs, and learning all about the different bugs they eat, I have to say, some of these creatures were fascinating themselves!
I always found it interesting how ladybirds are somehow more accepted once they become adults with a colourful shell and spots!(less)

It's something I had been thinking about doing for a while, and the brief for my final project during my MA studies gave me the perfect opportunity to dive right in and make it happen! There are so many weird and wonderful frogs out there and I hope my book introduces a few new ones to readers and encourages them to keep learning about the world we live in.(less)

New book - Where's My Shell?

I'm pleased to finally be publishing this book about a tiny turtle that is a little bit different. He has no shell! He struggles to find a new one, but with the help of a few unlikely friends, he finally makes it to the sea - with a shell of his own, and the knowledge to help others in a similar situation.

I've been working on it for a while now and it's great to finally see it 'in the flesh'! Read more of this blog post »
