Janet L. De Castro hails from eastern Long Island, New York where she spent her working years in public sector and community service. She has a B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College in Political Science and Literature, an M.A. in Criminal Justice from C.U.N.Y. John Jay College of Criminal Justice, additional certifications from L. I. U. at C. W. Post and believing in lifelong education has recently attempted the German language at Susquehanna University. In keeping with “horses-being-in-the-blood,” Janet moved to a farm in the Central Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania where she works for a small herd of horses, border collies and other farm critters.
