At the very least, it gets my mind off the sensation of hitting a brick wall with respect to my writing. But for most part, it helps my thoughts flow.

The other thing I do is travel by myself - usually to the mountains. There is something about being alone with your thoughts in the silence of the mountains. It’s a cure for writers block like none other. (less)
