Ruby was born and raised in South Texas. After graduating high school, she worked as a waitress and cook for ten years. In 2011, she married her best friend, and is momma to three amazing human kids and two fur kids. Her husband is Active Duty Army, and over the years they have adopted the military family creed. This has expanded their family to include two grandchildren, three daughters, and three sons. The family continues to grow.
Ruby also has an Associate's degree in Psychology, but has always dreamed of writing books. It was not until recently that she was given the courage through family and friends to actively go after those dreams. ...more

Sometimes I just have to ride it out, or go over what I have already written down to jog my brain into go mode. Sometimes listening to music gets the characters going. Other times it's letting the characters have their temper tantrum, and then we get back to writing.(less)
