I live in Ontario, Canada with my two dogs Ace and Rielly. When I'm not entertaining those two goofballs, I'm working on my latest writing project.

Writing is my greatest passion, but it isn't my only passion. I adore the sport of hockey and watch it on a consistent basis. I also love spending time with my family and friends.

I'm a huge advocate for removing the stigma around mental health and always try my best to support those who struggle with mental health, just like I do.

I am also the owner of Centaury Lilium Publishing, a company I created to self-publish my books under.

I think the biggest thing that can help when dealing with writer's block is this:

Every word written is another step closer to a finished book. If all you can get out is a paragraph, or a sentence, or maybe even only a word; it's all a step in the right direction.

Also, I think understanding that writing and editing need to be separate things. Too often people hit a writers block because they're editing/criticizing as they're writing and it's stunting their creativity. Just write and have fun doing it!(less)

Don't stress about the little things and focus on the heart of your story. Give yourself credit for all the progress you make and take it easy on yourself when you're progress slows down. Oh and never be afraid to ask for advice, majority of authors are really helpful people!(less)
