G.R. Handley (Gina Handley) has recently completed her first novel length work of fiction, a YA magical-realism story with a distinctively Northwest bent. Her debut book, Friending, a non-fiction book about adult friendship, was released by Microcosm Publishing in 2019 to some minor acclaim. Additionally, Gina received an MA in Counseling in 2001 and worked as a psychotherapist for over twenty years in a variety of community mental health, educational, and private practice settings. She transitioned to writing full-time in 2022 and completed the Creative Writing and Developmental Editing programs at University of Washington, while also taking writing courses at Stanford.
