As well as robots, clowns, and living statues, John Watson has an extensive list of things that terrify him. He is of the belief that writing about these horrors will make him immune to their evils, but it is still a work in progress. Mr. Watson spends most of his time hiding out in the closet space beneath the stairs, where he is currently working on a series of scary short stories. He resides in Atlanta with his chef wife Penny and a pair of equally skittish fur babies.

The one song that is now a little harder to listen to is "This Flight Tonight" by Nazareth. The story that went with that song was about the relationship between a boy and his father. My dad passed away about a year ago, so it was a tough one to write and now a tough song to listen to. Thanks for your question.(less)

Breaking Down My Books

When you have your first book published, you become fiercely protective of that title. By the time you are a few books in, you begin to develop a bit of perspective about each title. This is not to suggest that you suddenly hate one of your own books, but the experience of writing each one creates a ranking system in your own mind.

I thought it might be fun to ask my FB Reader Group to rank the tit Read more of this blog post »
