I may work on another part of the book, or leaving the book alone for a day or so. I listen or read my favorite books and music. I give my mind a break from it and allow myself to feel inspired by what I love again. Once my mind has had a long enough break, I talk about the book to either my mother or my best friend. I ask questions of my support group. Sometimes that block is easily pushed away after a break or it is your minds way of saying you need to go a different direction. Giving your mind a rest and ability to think clearly can help you figure out what it is trying to say.(less)
