Andy Littleton was born in Corvallis, Oregon near his hometown of Lebanon. His dad was a millworker and his mom owned the local bookstore. When Andy was six years old the family decided to sell their land and go out on the road in a motor home in search of better work.

The plan failed. After only months on the road the family was stranded in Tucson, Arizona after his mom had to undergo surgery. Andy would grow up a “desert rat” and always felt at home in Tucson. His dad spent most of his years in obscure and low paying jobs. Mom worked as a high school library clerk until retirement.
