For example, I have about eight project …moreFor me, writer's block is a non issue. Not to say that it doesn't happen, just that there are ways around it. For example, I have about eight project ideas in which I have put into motion currently, therefore, if I'm stuck on one I simply move to another. I realize this isn't always possible, but for now, it seems to be working.
In the rare occasion where I simply cannot write anything, I instead focus on research until inspiration strikes me. To understand reactions, people's trauma, how things work, are all things authors take into consideration. As such, research in these fields does an author an incredible service to the realism of the characters or how certain obkects operate. (less)

Sean K. Vlk For me, it's the reader's reactions. Nothing is more rewarding than having someone relate to, or despise a character you have written. Time was taken …moreFor me, it's the reader's reactions. Nothing is more rewarding than having someone relate to, or despise a character you have written. Time was taken to make that character relatable or "hateable," so the relation to the characters is always appreciated. Moreover, when someone notices the subliminal themes just below the surface of the actual plot. In some work, such things can go unnoticed and its truly sad. The author takes time to intertwine their story and such elements, so it's quite the gradifying nod when a reader takes notice. (less)
