I love the nostalgic feel I get when I read a Grace Livingston Hill. The only thing I didn't like--the tension came out of nowhere, completely unattached to the rest of the book. Oh, well. I still love the idea of living in a barn! For a bit. Blessings, ...more |

I wonder if this book would be more effective with younger people...but I do think it's good to be reminded...try to find a win/win rather than just win. Relationship and loving people as God would have us do...that's more important. ...more |

I hate rating any book this low, but I really don't think the audio version (which is the one I listened to) should have been published. The man's accent is flat wrong in many cases--even in English! I hope I picked up some vocabulary anyway, but I do ...more |
