New story

If I've been quiet over the winter, that's only because I've been busy writing! I'm delighted to say that I have not one but two new titles out with JMS books in the spring and early summer.

The first title is Shore Leave and I think it is my most romantic Historical Gay love story yet and is due for an April release.

Jacob Longley, Naval Lieutenant, is all at sea in the fashionable Bath Spa. As he attempts to steer his younger sister Letty through the social whirl with a close eye on her reputation, his striking looks can’t help but catch the attention of the exquisite Sebastian Fforde. Will either man break through the other’s reserve? And could their mutual attraction blossom into love?

New story

I'm delighted to say that Shore Leave, my latest gay romance, is now out with JMS Books.

Set between fashionable 18th century Bath and the scenic Cotswolds, this a gentle and tender romance that I hope readers will enjoy.

New story

I’m delighted to say that the first of my two Hot Flash stories due out over the summer with JMS Books will be released on July 10th.

This one is called A Roll of The Dice and is set in the atmospheric world of 18th century London’s bustling club land.

Joshua Jones is in London to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. As a young black man from a modest background, he works hard to pay for his painting classes, both as a fencing master’s assistant, then as a waiter in an exclusive gaming club, which his uncle manages.

During the London Season when the club as at its busiest, the last thing Joshua expects is to find romance. But when mesmerising older man, Frank Bartlett, is determined to seduce him, how can he resist? Joshua now finds he has another problem. How can he stop himself falling for the object of his desire?

I was kindly invited by fellow JMS Author Ofelia Grand to be a guest blogger on her regular Friday at Ofelia’s slot. It was a pleasure to talk about my inspiration and background for this particular story. Thank you again, Ofelia!

Hot Flashes!

I’m delighted to say that the second of my two Hot Flash stories due out over the summer with JMS Books will be released on August 21st.

This short story is called Stage Struck and is set in one of my favourite eras, the vibrant, roistering and often dangerous world of the Elizabethan Theatre in London in the 1590s.

As a humble scribe living out a humdrum existence in the City of London in Elizabethan times, Stephen finds his escape across the river amongst the crowds of the teeming theatres where he is transported by the spectacle.

But poetry isn’t everything. When a young Welsh actor called Ioan catches his eye, he’s tempted to overcome his shyness and make his acquaintance. Is Stephen out of his depth in this colourful world with its undertones of danger? Or might there be a slim chance that Ioan can return his feelings?

A big thank you again to the lovely Ofelia Grand for having me as her guest to chat about my inspiration for Stage Struck on her Friday At Ofelia’s blog.
