Shamkhal Samad Hasanov is a highly regarded Azerbaijani novelist and a lawyer by profession. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and an LL.M. from Toulouse Capitole University in France, where he completed a two-year master's program in French.

Hasanov's literary contributions are distinguished by his use of narrative techniques, particularly stream-of-consciousness and inner monologues. Through these methods, he offers a poignant, often tragicomic, exploration of human existence, meticulously capturing the subtleties of emotion and perception within the human mind.
