I am Nathaniel Wonderful, an author, translator, and analytical reader, focused on literature that rewards close attention and reflection. Born in the Czech Republic, I have spent time living in Japan and Costa Rica, and I plan to return to Japan in the near future. My interest lies in languages and their nuances, which informs both my reading and my writing.

In Czech, I have published five fantasy novels, and I am currently working on a dystopian science fiction manuscript in English. As a translator, I collaborated with the Czech publisher Dobrovský, translating two novels, although romance and young adult fiction are not my preferred genres.
