So far, so good. Sales of paperbacks and pre-orders of eBooks of Jett Landry: The Fierce Warrior, have been steady so far and there has been an uptick in sales of The Fuse and Urban Legend, books 1 and 2 in the series. If you haven't started this series yet, this is a good time to start. The Fierce Warrior completes this story arc. I've been talking a lot about The Fierce Warrior, because it is the newest of my books. But take a moment and check out The Fuse. This is my first book. It's the story of Jett as a lonely, awkward teenage girl who is on a quest to find herself and grow as a person. It's the story of a father and daughter as they deal with typical and not so typical teenage challenges. It's also the story of friendship and loyalty. Most of all, it's a good thriller as Jett's father, private detective Markus Jackson, gradually uncovers a conspiracy that leads to a race against time to save the day.

Tomorrow, November 4th, Jett Landry: The Fierce Warrior, is available as an eBook and on Kindle Unlimited. This novel completes the trilogy known as the Jett Landry Saga. It's not the last story from the Jett Landry Universe, but it will bring closure to the current storyline. It's been quite a journey from 2015 when I decided to write that first novel and started brainstorming ideas to tomorrow, when the third novel in the series drops. I interviewed people to learn of their experiences. I listened to tons of podcasts to get an idea how this format can have a significant impact on people. I've read countless conspiracy theories and kept up with the dark and sleazy side of power and politics. I wanted to write a story that contrasted the goodness of the characters of Jett, Melinda, Ashley Garcia, Markus Jackson, Sonya Harris, Diana Jones with the dark, sleazy world of corruption and violence. I wanted to show how the good guys can still win, even if it's just by relentlessly refusing to stop being the good guys. I wanted to show the struggle, both against a cruel world and the internal struggle against one's own insecurities and how one character can rise above them to be a hero.

I've gotten a lot of good reviews and ratings, a lot of good feedback and made a lot of new friends along the way. It's more than a book. It's a change in lifestyle. A milestone in my growth as a person and a new career. I hope you read this book. I hope you enjoy it. I hope you write a review and give it a rating. The story behind the Jett Landry Saga is that there is an authoritarian movement in Texas that mirrors a global authoritarian movement that Jett's dad, private detective Markus Jackson, was working to uncover and expose. This sets the stage for the story of Jett's struggle to make things right (trying to avoid spoilers) and the parallel story of her friends, who create a movement to restore freedom to the people of Texas. "Freedom Texas Y'all" becomes a popular refrain on social media and on a viral podcast that unites people in the struggle against the authoritarian government and their abusis. It makes for a good story, but there are real-life struggles for freedom all over the world.

Because there is an ongoing humanitarian disaster going on in Ukraine due to Russia's indiscriminate bombing of Ukrainian cities, I have decided to donate half of what I make on this book series to the Odessa Foundation in Odessa, Ukraine through the GlobalGiving organization. The Odessa Foundation provides food, shelter, medicine, clothes as well as psychological support for families living in war zones.

How is everyone? Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support of the Jett Landry Saga. Under the Gun, a Jett Landry Story, is doing well and the first three books (The Fuse, Urban Legend, and The Fierce Warrior) continue to have steady support from readers. The sequel to Under the Gun, the second book in the Witness series, is in revisions as we read (when I finish typing this blog, I'm going to get back to work on that). This book is Nine Lives, A Jett Landry Story, and it picks up where Under the Gun left off. Jett goes to New Orleans, makes a new friend, and a bunch of new enemies.

What's up? Thought I would check in and say hello. I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving and are looking forward to an exciting Christmas and NYE celebration.

I've been working hard on the next novel in the Jett Landry universe. Nine Lives, a Jett Landry story will be the second book in the Witness series. Under the Gun, A Jett Landry Story, was the first book. I don't have a release date yet, but we're making progress. I'm working the amazing artist, Micky Mitchell, on another creative and powerful cover. This is going to be a fun, exciting book, and I want all the details to be just right so all my friends here on Goodreads will enjoy it.

Meanwhile, if you haven't read Under the Gun, A Jett Landry Story, this is a good time to get caught up. Under the Gun is a fast read and the story moves. It's s a thriller with an old-school film noir vibe.

On a personal note, it means a lot to me that so many people have read these books, written reviews, rated the books, and reached out to me. I can never thank you enough, but I will try by writing and publishing more books in the Jett Landry Universe for you to enjoy.

I just sent my latest work in progress, Nine Lives, A Jett Landry Story, off for editing. We're getting closer!

Nine Lives is the second book in the Witness series and the fifth book in the Jett Landry Universe of stories. Jett is working with the feds to protect a witness to a federal crime. With grand jury proceedings looming, the bad guys will do anything to her out in the open. There will action, intrigue, drama, romance and all kinds of twists and turns. This is my most ambitious book to date and I'm excited about getting out in the world.
