But, when I do, try not to force myself to come up with stuff when I'm not feeling it. Instead, I'll go for a walk, I'll take a shower, I'll work out, I'll meditate. I'll do basically anything that pulls me away from my computer for a bit. (less)

I was lucky enough to read a couple early drafts of SHE USED TO BE NICE and cannot say enough wonderful things about LaFata's debut novel.
