María Pilar Conn (Instagram: @mariapilarconn) nació en Indianápolis, Indiana, en 1968. A lo largo de su trayectoria profesional, ha desempeñado diversos cargos —entre ellos interiorista, secretaria y recepcionista—, compaginándolos con otros trabajos que le permitieron sostenerse económicamente. Durante casi seis años fue propietaria de Cardinal American Bakery, en Cabo de Palos (España), donde se especializó en la elaboración de tartas escultóricas para bodas y eventos. Cursó el bachillerato en Los Gatos High School (California), ciudad en la que residió durante seis años antes de trasladarse a España. I really enjoyed this novel; the only thing that I didn´t like was the dialogue in a Scottish brogue. It left so much out, too difficult for me to understand. And also the romance between the main character and a lord, it just suddenly happened, like ...more

M.P. Conn is 73% done with Castle Barebane: I´m almost finished, the book is good, but the author has added Scottish dialogue and I am constantly getting lost in it. This is the only thing I´m not liking about it, half the time I don´t know what they are saying. But I´m dying to finish to see what will happen! Loved this! And I will definitely read the second one in the series. A good spy novel, adventure, action, and good rhythm.
