David Green is a neurodivergent internationally best-selling writer of the epic and the urban, the fantastical and the mysterious.

With his character-driven dark fantasy series Empire Of Ruin, or urban fantasy noir Hell In Haven starring Haven's only supernatural PI Nick Holleran, David takes readers on emotional, character-driven, action-packed thrill rides that leaves a reader needing their next fix.

Hailing from the north-west of England, David now lives in County Galway on the west coast of Ireland. When not writing, David can be found wondering why he chooses to live in, and write about, places where it constantly rains.

At Eternity's Gates Out Now... And the Empire Of Ruin series is complete!

Over the weekend, the last book in my Empire of Ruin series, At Eternity's Gates, came out and marked the completion of the series!

It's a funny feeling. I'll miss a lot of the characters I won't write about ever again (due to plot reasons and choice, some deserve a rest!) but I'm satisfied that the end has come. I do plan on returning to the world of the Empire of Ruin series (both before these ev Read more of this blog post »

This book by author Mr Mouchet does a good job of marrying familiar fantasy tropes with fresh new takes. I especially enjoyed the respectful borrowing from Native American culture, and am intrigued by Call of Titan's views on the gods.

I'm trying to decide on my next project and have a couple of ideas I'm developing.

There will be more books about Greton and his friends, too. Hopefully later on in 2026 :)
