More often than not I end up deleting and rewriting the whole thing, but I find just writing something helps. Sometimes it isn't even a scene, it's a rant, a vent about how I feel, things that will never see the light of day, never see eyes but my own, but the act of writing something helps me push through any blocks. Although still being fairly new at writing who knows what I will resort to in the future, this is still a new journey for me too.(less)

Everyone needs a little escapism, and writing is mine. I deal with a lot of difficult things day in day out, and writing is the thing that liberates me, it's like a reset button for my mind and soul. Some days, I swear, it's the only thing that keeps me sane. If I can be classed as sane to begin with.(less)
