Amy Dong is an award-winning author whose works have been published in Scholastic’s Best Teen Writing of 2016 and NYU’s The Call for Corporate Action. She graduated as valedictorian of her class at NYU after taking an unexpected medical leave of absence and spending her remaining time traveling across 5 continents and 29 countries. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she taught English in Taiwan as a Fulbright Scholar. In trying to make sense of her tumultuous and unpredictable first two decades of life, Amy has found that the most powerful antidote to self-doubt and fear has been listening to others’ stories while examining her own.
