When she isn’t writing, Jen can be found sailing, browsing the shelves of her local bookstore, cheering ardently at an NWSL soccer match, or training horses at her Southern California horse ranch, where she lives with her wife, Donna, and their dogs and horses.

I don’t really have a firm opinion about the possibility of a sequel to this book (which is absolutely wonderful, and it made me cry for hours without stopping, and I still find myself thinking about it from time to time).
