Wes is an engineer by trade, a busybody by habit, and a lifelong Jersey boy.

Writing has been a hobby in one form or another since 2006 when he started drawing 3-panel comics. When he is not putting words down, he is picking them up; the “to-read" pile only seems to grow larger.

A fan of nature, he spends as much time outside as possible.

There are hundreds of these collections from different towns all across the country. They're incredibly fascinating to me.

At one point, I found this picture of a young woman taken sometime during the 1920's. The setting was clearly rural town. She was holding a cat, and standing in front of a car next to a barn. At a time when trains, canals, and walking were still the primary mode of transportation, it just made me think of what a game-changer the car must have been. To say nothing of broadcast radio.

Also... I realized that taking pictures of one's cats is apparently not just a recent phenomenon.(less)

"I wasn't sure how I felt about this book or what to expect, as I read it without reading the description.

However, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the characters, their lives, and where they ended up.

Book 2 is another fun outing with the Galloways. Hemingway continues to be a source of hilarious chaos and bravado. Lewis finding his place in the family was an interesting ride - bordering on dark at the end. And for a book entirely about devils, th ...more

This was a great, fun read.
Definitely has a comic book kind of vibe, which I appreciate. Very dialogue and action heavy, which is a plus. Hemingway is hilarious in an over-the-top way.

Would recommend for fans of Buffy and/or Ash and the Evil Dead (b
