Maggie Watson is an Indie Author and Poet from Scotland.
She began writing in 2020 and self-published her first collection
of poetry in 2021.
As a Domestic Abuse Survivor, much of Maggie's writing is quite raw.
In her latest collection, Pieces of Me, she tells her story, from the pain
of her abuse to reclaiming her life.
Glass Gates, Edge of Humanity and Gypsophilazine have all published
her writing.
In 2025 she was awarded both Publication and Author of the Month by Spillwords Press.
Her poetry has also been in five anthologies, including After Rains Skies ( A Global Anthology)
Maggie enjoys music, reading, and solo travel when not writing.

I would also say it is a "call to action", we are after all

I keep a notepad at my bedside.
Sparks often arise when you least expect.
I find writer's block so very frustrating.
