Hello, and welcome to my page!

I (Marii Solaria) am an African American woman born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, in the wonderful neighborhood of Uptown, to Malian immigrants. I am the second child out of four and the only female out of my siblings. Beginning my writing career at age 12, I wrote fanfiction of my favorite television shows and movies and created original stories alongside my three brothers. Eventually, I became drawn to the fantasy genre and magical systems through television, which became my favorite genre to write about.
