As a child Amy loved reading and writing, so naturally she graduated with a degree in biomedical science and has worked in a microbiology laboratory ever since. Her passion is writing, however, and she turned back to it during her years at university. When she is not writing about surviving apocalypses, vampires feeding on the rich, exploring space, and conquering magic--all celebrating queer love-- she can be found reading or playing games about those very things.

She lives by the sea with her wife and their eighteen year old cat, who still runs around like a kitten.

Amy is the author of the VAMPIRES trilogy WE'RE ALL MONSTERS HERE and SHOW ME YOUR TEETH, with book three due 2025, and the SURVIVORS duology, SURVIVORS and THE SAFE ZONE. She h

"Yep, I loved this novel. There is too much within these pages to properly talk about in a few sentences, but to be honest that’s one of the things I liked about it. This novel covered a lot of topics, some sweet and heartwarming and some darker and a" Read more of this review »

"Age gaps fall in two categories for me, I either buy it or I don’t. This was no exception, I didn’t buy it. It was more grumpy/sunshine than age gap. I loved the concept of two audiobook narrators falling for each other doing a duet. But I needed a b" Read more of this review »

This was a good romance! The writing was great, and Grace and Alix were really nice characters. I was rooting for them with their romance and individual lives.

I do wish we'd seen more with Kristen and Julie and them realising Alix and Grace had moved

This isn't something I'd normally read (I pretty much read exclusively sapphic books), but I loved the film so much I had to read the book.

I'll get the negatives out of the way first. The writing is... not good. There's very little description, not a

“Money, money, money. You PC pricks are all about the money, aren't you?"
Jensen frowned at the casual way she lumped him in with the rest of the bastards who worked for the Planetary Council. Which he technically also did. But it wasn't like he'd had a choice. One didn't turn down becoming a shadow agent. Not if you wanted to keep on breathing.”
