Takis Theodoropoulos (Greek: Τάκης Θεοδωρόπουλος; French/German: Takis Théodoropoulos) is a journalist and fiction writer.
The primary subject matter of his novels is classical Greek history.
In 1999 his novel Η δύναμη του σκοτεινού θεού (The Power of the Dark God, 2007) was awarded the Ouranis Foundation prize by the Academy of Athens.
In 2004 he was recognized by the Académie Française for his contribution in promoting French literature.
He is the publishing director at Oceanida since 1988.
