is finished with The End of Karma: It’s good enough (or at least the topic is) that I don’t want to DNF, but not the most enjoyable read. I realized that it because it’s written by a journalist and therefore it’s a long list of facts with very little color. It makes sense, that’s her job. But boy would I love some good storytelling to stir my heart for the people she tells of.
