I am a half-Lithuanian, half-English aspiring author, travel writer, and journalist.

I write about the human condition, life, and travel to places lesser known and the people who live there. I am currently working on a sort of comedic novel, my first attempt at fiction.

I love to go to new regions, countries, and cities. My first solo trip in 2019 was my so-called "canon event" and motivated to see even more of the world. In 2023, I travelled for the first time to "blacklisted" countries (if you can call them that) - Iraq and Syria being the big two. I've yet to put my thoughts to paper on these trips beyond some forgotten blogs somewhere.

The New Coffee Capital of the World... Hanoi, Vietnam 🇻🇳

Mopeds and motorbikes wizz past me with only a few inches to spare. I'm sat on a miniature deck chair on what was once intended to be a pavement. In front of me, a cream cheese coffee from VHN Coffee in Hanoi's Old Quarter. It is an unlikely combination, but ends up being one of the best coffees I end up having on the trip, perhaps ever.
