Sheena Billett writes contemporary, character driven fiction. She enjoys the process of writing and putting herself in someone else’s shoes, trying to understand how and why her characters react as they do when they find themselves in challenging situations.
Sheena has written five novels and a book of short stories. Her characters are generally individuals who many of us will have come across and one time or another, even if some of them are a bit larger than life.
She likes to keep her writing grounded in realism and her stories are always set in the everyday, which can be sad, funny, thought-provoking, challenging, or simply a bit bonkers.
Sheena lives with her wife in Nottinghamshire.
