Brad Good, bestseller author of The Control Center, has lived and worked in the People's Republic of China since 1988. He brings rare on-the-ground knowledge of contemporary Chinese political, social, and cultural issues, and associated international affairs. Good has conducted business across the country and resided in various cities throughout China and Asia.

He holds an MBA and Master’s in East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago and a BA from UC Berkeley. Good speaks fluent Mandarin and is a fifth-degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. He currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan.

It's nice to meet you and thank you for your note. I also lived and worked in Taiwan in 1987. Seeing first-hand its progress over time, compared to China, has been fascinating. You might find it interesting that I'll move to HCMC starting June 1st. I know close to nothing of Vietnam.

It does appear we are in a "pissing contest." Let me know what you think of my publishers suggestion.
