Luke Stoltzfoos is a teacher and author in Pennsylvania. He has to spell his last name out for people on the phone every day, and wonders what people would do if he just spelled his first name “John” but told everyone to pronounce it as “Luke.” He enjoys staying indoors and doing as little as possible with his partner and their three brilliant and brave daughters. He spends much of his time generally hoping for the world to last a few more years. There is still so much he hopes to see, after all.

Enjoyed! Not as great as Taste (his first book like this), but still had his usual charm. Makes me think Italian food might be the best food, and makes me want to eat pasta.

A really fun, 1-2 sitting romp with the robots. It was less philosophical and more action packed than I expected, which was actually a pleasant surprise. There are six more!! I don’t know that I’ll read on, but I might.

A high quality 90s style fantasy novel. There are things I think fantasy did better in the 2000s and later, but there’s something so charming and escapist about novels from this era. I will be continuing the series, for sure. Also: dogs are cute and ...more
