I'm a desk dweller, usually found attempting to write whilst surrounded by a pack of demanding animals.

I live in semi-rural West Yorkshire, England. Home of rugged moors, gritty northern towns, and sunlit vistas. When it's not raining. Or snowing. Or blowing a gale.

I write historical fantasy with a twist of tarot. You definitely don't have to know anything about Tarot to enjoy the stories. But if you do, I hope you enjoy the imagery, themes and character depictions I've managed to incorporate!

Tales from the Tarot is a standalone series. You don't have to read them in order, although Seer of Epera does lead directly to Queen of Swords.

I anticipate that many of my characters will make return appearances in future books! There's nothing better

If I seriously get that far, I know I'm in trouble.

If in doubt - go back to your plot. Because if you are worried about starting the story, you may also be subconsciously worrying that the structure isn't right. Plotting isn't writing. (But if i start plotting, I find myself writing. it's a mind trick!)(less)
