Literary Pilgrimages

I’ve gone on pilgrimages for projects. I was in western Kansas for a month meeting with paleontologists and learning about the marine creatures of the Late Cretaceous for Xiphactinus.

I’ve also visited places that gave me a feeling of connection with writers I admire. I spent time in Norway, walking the paths Hamsun walked through the Nordland forests. I’ve been to locations for Giono’s novels in Read more of this blog post »
