I grew up in Maryland and then earned earth science degrees from Franklin and Marshall in Pennsylvania and Syracuse University in New York.

I've worked on environmental issues in China, Iran, Scotland, Canada, Central America, and across the US.

I have traveled through Europe, Vietnam, Africa, New Zealand, and Central America.

I love to read, hike, and commune with others in the great outdoors. I engage others with presentations and with these books to care about the Earth and to act now to save our Goldilocks climate.
