Sara Staggs I am currently working on two things - 1. getting publicity for Uncontrollable, and 2. revising my YA LGBTQ+ manuscript about a trans teen who has to …moreI am currently working on two things - 1. getting publicity for Uncontrollable, and 2. revising my YA LGBTQ+ manuscript about a trans teen who has to move from a small, Texas town when it becomes unsafe, and goes with his family to Portland, Oregon, where he now has a whole new lease on life. It's an interesting book to write, and I am hoping to start querying it in the fall. (less)

I’ve never been dumped because I have epilepsy. I’ve had failed relationships for other reasons - which are too long for this blog post - but epilepsy was not one of them. Having been married for 17 years, I never thought about what my life would look like if epilepsy had been a factor in whether someone stayed with me or not. But, over the past year, at book signings, at speeches, at epilepsy eve
