I'm not sure if I have the answer you're looking for, but here's my two cents: Hope is a powerful, in the sense it can be motivational to the human psyche. Hope also tends to be fear-based and remains abstract (no action). Hoping and wishing are synonymous. I'm sure you're familiar with the adage, "hope in one hand......" When one concludes "nothing can be done" I believe it to be individually futile to continue to water the seed of hopelessness.

As an American, my opinion on foreign affairs is that we have enough on our plates to eat for a long time here at home. We need to make sure our house is in order before we worry about the houses of others..

Decent book. Pretty obvious it's written for a younger audience. I read some reviews about how "racist" or whatever it was, and honestly that's why I decided to read it (that and I've been on a bit of a shipwreck-genre kick lately), thinking that it ...more

"The author actually compares January 6 protest to Ft. Sumter. What an absolutely delusional comparison showing a stunning inability to compare and contrast like a 6th grader. Evidently protestors getting police escorts around the Capitol on January 6" Read more of this review »

“The sheeple continually graze the pastures of multiculturalism poisoned with self-hatred.”

Hewitt E. Moore, White Guilt

“The actuality of us being cognizant and accepting of the fact we are but a speck of sand in a universe sized desert, whose existence is irrelevant to any facet of universal function is a hard pill to swallow. Knowing the world will go on for another billion years after death and you will have no recollection of anything, just as you have no recollection of the billion years before your birth is a mind-boggling intuition,”
