Torcivia is a divorced man who transplanted himself from Pennsylvania into the treacherous dating pool in Southern California. His feline companions share his home in San Diego and an occasional dish of leftover tuna. Torcivia loves nothing better than bellying up to the bar with his favorite social lubrication (wine) and watching the bizarre mating rituals of the locals, which he translates into humorous essays.

Phil, I really like your book "Just a Nice Guy!" It was unlike any books I have ever read and enjoyed before! I actually recommended that friends of mine get the book... of course I had to be careful with my recommendations because some of them would have been completely offended by you!! Anyway, thanks for a great laugh and a good read!!
