Hi, my name is Cintia and I'm from Argentina. Being a writer is what I want the most in this world, nothing makes me happier than writing, but I'm more and more frustrated with each passing day, because I've been blocked for 3 years. And it is not that I have an unfinished story. I have NOTHING AT ALL. A blank page in front of me, that only makes me sadder... Is there a way to overcome this? How do you handle it?

To answer your question, I have a question. Do you write the story in your head? Parts of it?

If so, write those thoughts/story down. Don't think of it as writing a book. Just write. After you have words on the page you can go back and fix it.

When I get blocked in a story, I go and write other parts of the story. For instance, I love writing epilogues and have play them over and over in my head long before I get to them in the book. But, if I get blocked in the book, I will go to a clean page and start writing the epilogue as if I'm just thinking about it or daydreaming. For some reason, that helps the part I'm blocked on to start to flow.

I see you write about mail order brides a lot. Have you ever seen the movie "Westward the Women"? It's an old black and white western, and one of my most favorite movies. And it's about mail order brides. You'd probably dig it.

Getting My House Back (Bedroom Closet Part 2)
