Ashtottara was born and grew up in Malaysia. Passionate about reading from a very young age, especially fiction, she became conscious of her imaginative power and chose to grasp it. Through her job as an accountant in the cruising line, she was able to travel to many countries across the world. The experience was rewarding as it rekindled the imaginary traits and invoked the tale-teller in her. She quit her job and took up writing in 2020. The Reawakening is her first novel.
