I wonder that maybe when we write we may run ahead of ourselves as it were and the creative imagination dries up. To relax as I suggest above, or to put it aside allows that creative impulse to catch up.(less)

Cooks are artists and are creative but their creations get eaten while your book, though it might not last for ever does remain and will do so after you have gone. (less)
