Eugenio Corti (21 January 1921 – 4 February 2014) was an Italian writer born in Besana in Brianza. After participating in the Italian retreat from Russia in World War II, he joined the Italian partisans. Based on these experiences, he wrote Few Returned and The Last Soldiers of the King. Quotes by Eugenio Corti (?)
