Regina Sage is the pen name of a linguist and dialect coach based out of the Midwest United States. She lives with her copirate in a beautiful small town surrounded by a sea of wheat fields. When not writing steamy romances, she spends her time creating new voices for the stage (and D&D characters), and working with her communities to revitalize the arts in the region. She likes to garden, cook, crack whips and sling steel. If she doesn’t run twenty miles in a week, she calls it self-care and reads a book instead.

I would say that the reader never witnesses the murder(s) in my books, as they all happen prior to/after a scene. There is mention of several, but the reader only sees attempted murder. People die in accidents, however, and there is a scene in the catacombs! (less)

Series Reading Order

Time to clear things up! There is some discrepancy in how my books are numbered between platform. Smashwords does not allow partial numbers, while both Draft2Digital and GoodReads do. There is also some confusion about what books are in the series. I'm terribly sorry about that! Hopefully the lists below give you better idea of how this all works and improves your reading experience.

“For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.”
Charles Bukowski

“Find what you love and let it kill you.”

Peter Benchley
“Look, Chief, you can't go off half-cocked looking for vengeance against a fish. That shark isn't evil. It's not a murderer. It's just obeying its own instincts. Trying to get retribution against a fish is crazy.”
Peter Benchley, Jaws

Ted Bell
“Hey. You know what the shark said to the clown?”
“No.”
“You taste funny.”
Ted Bell, Spy

Munia Khan
“Into the sea I’d love to sink
When with both eyes a shark can blink
Is he a brave fish or a marine man?
Through those closed eyelids my heart will he scan?”
