Asking a Quick Favour - Storm Dancer
Storm Dancer got a new cover in January. It's the one with the dynamic pose, where the tunic is maroon and the turban is scarlet. This one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
Alas, when people search Storm Dancer on Goodreads, the old cover shows, and each time someone clicks that, it reaffirms that the old cover is correct.
So I'm wondering if people could help me? If you've read Storm Dancer, if want to read it, if you rate it or review it or anything, could you please do it while the new cover is displayed? This will help a lot.
Thanks.

Who knows Jacquelyn Bartel?
I'm trying to contact the fantasy writer Jacquelyn Bartel. Does anyone know her? Can you put me in touch with her?
I've already tried Google, Facebook, Twitter and all the other obvious avenues. Perhaps someone knows her (a neighbour? colleague? member of a writers' group?)
If yes, I'll be grateful if you can help.

Any Mort Castle fans who can answer this?
I'm trying to remember the title of a fantasy/horror short story by Mort Castle. "Miss Hezeltine's Miracle" or something like that?
I had an audio recording of it, downloaded from a now defunct site where I can't look it up. Amazon and Google searches haven't yielded an answer.
Does anyone know the correct title and spelling? (Hesseltine? Haseltine?)

Oooh! The Print Cover for Storm Dancer Looks Awesome
I was very happy with this book cover (a collaboration between two artists, Paul Davies and Erica Syverson). I had worked very closely with them to get it just right.
So the digital image was super... but it's nothing compared with the print!
The printed cover looks AWESOME.
The colours... the gloss... everything.
I want to dance around town, holding up the book, singing "Looking at this! Look at this!"

Does this make 'Storm Dancer' a 'Bestseller'?
I'm so excited! My dark epic fantasy novel Storm Dancer is suddenly shooting up in the bestseller lists.
At the moment, it's #422 at Barnes and Noble - out of the millions of books sold at B&N!
And on Amazon, it's near the top of two genre bestseller lists (#7 Historical Fantasy and #28 in Epic Fantasy).
I'm sitting on the edge of my seat, glued to the monitor, watching the bestseller lists change hourly. I wonder if Storm Dancer will climb any further, or whether it has gone as far is it will go.
The price for the ebook is reduced from $4.99 to $0.99 until 1 June; no doubt this special offer has much to do with the sudden boost.
The paperback is at the standard price.
If you want to buy the book (while it's on special offer), here are the links:

JEFF HARGETT is a grandfather from North Carolina with an imagination full of magic and dragons. He stays young and fit by dining on epic fantasy whenever possible. He’s had a couple of short stories placed in competitions, but prefers his fiction in novel-length doses. He’s a firm believer that when this world doesn’t suit you, you should write a world that does. He enjoys interacting with readers and other writers and spends far too much time loitering around his blog http://StrandsOfPattern.blogspot.com/.
FREDERICK LANGRIDGE enjoyed a varied career as an engineer, scientist, manager and teacher. Now in semi-retirement he has turned his writing skills to projects much more exciting than worksheets and textbooks. His short stories have appeared in compilations produced by the Panocticon Writing Group, of which he is a founder member, and in his own collection: Short Stories to Read on the Bus.
He has previously contributed to a published science teaching course and several textbooks, and currently works part time as Associate Tutor in Science Education at Edge Hill University.
