Announcing the new cover for The Fairy King

Introducing the new cover, designed by Sean Gilfillan, for The Fairy King. I think Sean did a great job on this cover. The Fairy King, with its new cover, is now available at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com.

Elora is a kind girl, who loves to garden, and has a soft spot for tiny creatures. She also loves to tell stories, and would be delighted if magic were real, but she knows it isn't. At least, she thinks she knows it isn't. Unfortunately, the fairy king has taken an interest in her, and she is about to find out how wrong she is. The fairy king plunges her into a world of magic and danger, but when she tries to tell her family and friends, they only think she has come up with her best story yet. That is, until they start to notice that peculiar things happen whenever she's around...

Magic Guardians (Almost) Ready

Almost Ready!

Like spring, my new book, Magic Guardians, will be here soon. It is the long-awaited sequel to Magic Thieves (sorry I took so long, all of you who have been waiting so patiently.) I am now in the process of proofing it, and once I am done with that I will be ready to announce the release date. I’m so excited to finally be nearly finished with this project. And just to let you know, the cool sketch of a magic guardian on the cover was done by Amanda Gilfillan. Thanks Amanda!

So what’s the story about? Well, in Magic Guardians we will return to Terra, a land where everything depends on magic for survival, even the plants and insects. But the level of magic has begun to dive. As a result, patches of death are developing all over the world. And people are succumbing to a mysterious magic sickness. When Rita finds out about the trouble, she feels she must return to Terra, so she can use her special gift of magic sight to help repair the magic. But to do anything, she will need the cooperation of the wizards. And she isn’t likely to get that, since they think she is the cause of the disaster.

Once it is released, you will be able to buy Magic Guardians at Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, and Kobo Books. Watch for the release date!
