Tom, and his older brother Jerry,were born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Andrew's Grade School, Cretin High (an all-boys Christian Brothers and Army ROTC school) and attended the University of Minnesota. After a successful 38-year career in the newspaper industry (at metro dailies in St. Paul, MN., Birmingham, AL. and Omaha, NE.) he took an early retirment and moved to the Nashville area (Franklin, TN.). My first book

Truth is, I never intended to write a book. Being retired and somewhat bored, I just started keyboarding some interesting life stories and adventures. Some are pretty darn funny, some not. Before I knew it, I had quite the collection (135 stories) so I began to add photos. I printed the whole thing out and let a few friends and relatives read it.
